Skin boosters in Wirral: comparing your options
Start with the skin concern and area you want assessed. Profhilo, Sunekos and Jalupro are separate services with different formulations and suitability considerations; a product name alone cannot tell you which one is right for you.
What is the aim of a skin-quality treatment?
Fine surface lines, a crepey appearance or changes in texture are reasons to discuss skin-quality options. A plan aimed at skin quality has different goals from a treatment chosen primarily to change facial contour or replace volume. Sarah can explain whether a skin booster is relevant to your concern and what alternatives may fit better.
Compare the main services
Profhilo
An injectable hyaluronic-acid skin-quality option. Discuss the concern, proposed area and whether this approach fits your goals. View Profhilo appointments.
Sunekos
A hyaluronic-acid and amino-acid formulation. Confirm the area and formulation; the under-eye service has a separate booking. View Sunekos appointments.
Jalupro Super Hydro
A formulation containing hyaluronic acid, amino acids and peptides. Discuss the intended area, proposed course and review point. View Jalupro Super Hydro appointments.
Jalupro HMW
A separate hyaluronic-acid and amino-acid service. Compare it against your goal rather than assuming all Jalupro products are interchangeable. View Jalupro HMW appointments.
The individual treatment pages contain current appointment details and prices. Confirm the area included and the total proposed course cost at consultation. No product is presented here as universally better than the others.
What about the under-eye area?
Under-eye skin needs its own assessment. Sunekos Under Eye, Jalupro Classic Under Eye and Jalupro Young Eye have separate appointments. Read our under-eye concerns guide to distinguish fine texture from pigment, a hollow or a structural bag.
Are polynucleotides and Profhilo Structura the same?
No. Plinest polynucleotides is a separate skin-quality service with its own formulation, evidence and suitability assessment. Profhilo Structura is also a separate product and booking, developed for age-related changes in facial fat compartments. Neither should be selected simply because its name appears alongside skin boosters.
What should I ask at consultation?
-
Why does this product and treatment area fit my concern?
-
What improvement is realistic, and what will it not address?
-
What are the alternatives, risks and recovery considerations?
-
How many sessions are proposed, what will the whole plan cost, and when should we review it?
Injectable treatments can cause redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. Other complications are possible and should be discussed for the exact procedure proposed. Tell Sarah about medical conditions, medicines, allergies, previous treatments, pregnancy or breastfeeding, and any active skin problem.
