PROFHILO IN WIRRAL Profhilo appointments are available at Paramed Aesthetics in Eastham and Hamilton Square, Birkenhead. Profhilo is an injectable hyaluronic acid treatment used to address skin quality and laxity. A consultation helps you understand whether it is appropriate for your skin goals. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What skin concerns can I discuss at my consultation? Bring concerns about skin texture, fine surface lines or a less firm appearance to your consultation. Sarah will assess whether a skin-quality approach is relevant. Deep folds, facial volume changes and substantial loose skin may need a different discussion; Profhilo is not a substitute for every other treatment. When should I review my treatment plan? Agree a review point and the change you hope to assess before starting. Further treatment should be based on your response and preferences, with the costs explained before you commit. How much does Profhilo cost? Profhilo costs £200 per treatment. The number and spacing of appointments depend on the plan agreed with Sarah; confirm the total course cost before booking. Is Profhilo the same as Profhilo Structura or other skin boosters? Profhilo Structura is a separate product and booking, with a different treatment approach and price. Other skin boosters on our booking page also have their own formulations and suitability considerations. Choosing a product starts with assessment, rather than assuming that all skin boosters are interchangeable. What happens at my consultation? Sarah, a practising HCPC-registered paramedic, will discuss your goals, medical history, medicines, allergies and previous treatments. Tell her if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or have an active skin problem. Suitability, alternatives, possible complications, aftercare and the full cost of any proposed course should be discussed before you decide to proceed. What should I know about recovery and results? Injectable treatments can cause temporary redness, swelling, tenderness and bruising. Other complications are possible and will be discussed at consultation. Allow time for recovery before an important event and follow your individual aftercare advice. Results vary; a particular outcome or duration cannot be guaranteed. How do I book a free consultation or treatment? If you are new to Paramed Aesthetics or comparing treatments, choose a free 15-minute introductory in-clinic consultation with Sarah. This appointment is an introductory discussion. Sarah will advise if a longer assessment is needed before agreeing a treatment plan. Treatment is booked separately, with no obligation to proceed.
