Service Description

PLINEST POLYNUCLEOTIDES IN WIRRAL Explore Plinest at Paramed Aesthetics in Eastham and Hamilton Square, Birkenhead. Sarah, a practising HCPC-registered paramedic, will help you discuss your skin concerns, treatment options and realistic expectations before you decide whether to proceed. START WITH A FREE CONSULTATION Choose “In-clinic consultation” at the top of this page for a free, no-obligation 15-minute introductory appointment. Discuss your concerns, ask questions and explore possible next steps. Sarah will advise if a longer assessment is needed before agreeing a personalised treatment plan. Treatment is booked separately. Prefer to talk first? Choose “Phone call with Sarah” for a free 15-minute introductory call. Sarah calls you, so you do not need to attend a clinic. An in-clinic assessment is the next step before treatment. WHAT ARE PLINEST POLYNUCLEOTIDES? Plinest is an injectable gel made by Mastelli containing purified polynucleotides: DNA fragments derived from fish. It is used in treatments aimed at improving skin quality. Sarah will explain the product, proposed treatment area and technique during your consultation. WHICH SKIN CONCERNS CAN I DISCUSS? Fine lines, changes in skin texture and reduced elasticity are reasons to discuss skin-quality treatments with Sarah. Small studies of polynucleotide injections have reported improvements in these areas, but the evidence is still developing and does not establish that every product or treatment area will respond equally. Sarah will assess your skin and explain whether Plinest fits your particular concern. PLINEST, FILLERS OR ANOTHER TREATMENT? The aim of this Plinest service is skin quality. If your main concern is lost facial volume, a deep fold or loose skin, ask Sarah whether another approach would better match your goal. You do not need to choose a product yourself: your consultation can compare the Plinest, microneedling and skin-booster options available at Paramed, including their different procedures, recovery and costs. Choosing no treatment is also an option. PRICES AND APPOINTMENTS Single Plinest treatment: £185. Package of 3 treatments: £480. The treatment appointment is listed as 60 minutes. If you already have an agreed plan, choose “Book treatment” to check availability. Ask Sarah about suitability before choosing a package. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS What results can I expect? Studies have reported improvements in skin quality, but findings have limitations and longer-term research is still developing. Individual results vary. Discuss your priorities, alternatives and what improvement may be realistic; treatment cannot guarantee a particular outcome. How many treatments will I need? A course and review schedule are planned around your assessment. Sarah will discuss the number and spacing of appointments and when to review your response. Buying three treatments does not determine the right course for everyone. When should we review the results? Agree a review point with Sarah before starting. Assess your response over time rather than judging the appearance immediately after injections, when swelling can affect what you see. There is no guaranteed result or fixed duration that applies to everyone. Discuss whether any further treatment is worthwhile at your review. Is there any downtime? Redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising or itching can occur after injections. Recovery varies. Discuss risks, aftercare and timing before an important event, and follow the advice provided for your treatment. Is Plinest suitable for everyone? No. Tell Sarah about all allergies, especially fish allergy, as well as medical conditions, current medicines, pregnancy or breastfeeding and any active skin problems. Suitability must be assessed before treatment. Do not stop prescribed medication without advice from your prescriber. Should I book Plinest, Plinest Eye or Plinest Hair? This is the main Plinest service. Plinest Eye and Plinest Hair have separate treatment pages and consultation options. Start with a free consultation if you are unsure which matches your concern.
