Planning treatment and aftercare Microneedling creates small punctures in the skin. Redness and irritation can occur, and risks include infection and pigment changes. Discuss recovery, sun protection, skincare and when to restart your usual routine before treatment. Follow the individual aftercare given for the procedure.
