Ask whether a dental assessment or another professional opinion would be useful. A cosmetic procedure is not automatically the right approach. Planning treatment and aftercare The consultation does not guarantee treatment or a prescription. Any proposed option should be explained with its alternatives, risks, recovery, aftercare and cost. Where prescribing is relevant, assessment by an authorised prescriber is required. You can take time to decide and choose not to proceed.
